Homemade Coffee Syrup

Making your own syrup for coffee at home is easier than you might think. With a few simple ingredients and tools you can whip up a batch of delicious syrup for your lattes, cappuccinos and other coffee drinks. Here's how to make your own syrup for coffee:

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Optional: flavoring of choice i.e. almond, hazelnut, etc.
Tools:
- Saucepan
- Spatula
- Glass container for storage

Instructions:
1. Begin by combining the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir continually until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. After the sugar is dissolved, turn the heat down to medium and let the mixture simmer for 7-10 minutes.
3. Once the syrup has reached the desired consistency (it should be slightly thick like honey), remove it from the heat and add in the vanilla extract and optional flavorings.
4. Whisk the syrup until all the ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is homogenous.
5. Pour the syrup into a glass container and let it cool before capping, labeling, and storing.

And that’s it! Now you’re ready to enjoy your homemade syrup for coffee. You can add it to your latte, cappuccino, espresso and other coffee drinks for a delicious and unique flavor. Try experimenting with different ingredients and flavor profiles and see what you like best. Enjoy!
