Ingredients:
- 1 cup ground dark roast coffee
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream or milk
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
1. Combine the ground coffee and water in a quart-sized jar or container.
2. Stir well to make sure all the coffee is evenly saturated with water.
3. Cover and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, or up to 24 hours.
4. Once the coffee mixture has steeped, strain the coffee using a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the chocolate syrup, heavy cream or milk, and vanilla extract.
6. Mix well until all ingredients are blended.
7. Fill a glass with ice and pour the strained cold-brewed coffee over the ice.
8. Top with the chocolate and cream mixture
9. Add whipped cream (optional) and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles (optional).
10. Serve and enjoy!
