Ingredients:

For Mashed Deer Burger Tacos:

- 1 pound ground deer burger or you can use any burger you like

- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Sweet Heat (from Tricia Leach Blends) or chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper will work.

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 8 small flour tortillas

 

For Lime Crema Dipping Sauce:

- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- Zest and juice of 1 lime

- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

- Sweet Heat (from Tricia Leach Blends) or salt, pepper and something spicy to taste.

 

Instructions:

1. Prepare Deer Burger Filling:

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground deer burger.

2. Cook the deer burger until it's browned, breaking it into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon.

3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent.

4. Season the mixture with Sweet Heat or chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

 

Make Lime Crema Dipping Sauce:

1. In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, chopped cilantro, Sweet Heat or salt and pepper to taste.
